BUSH KINDER PROGRAMS 2024

This Program is open to both 3yo and 4yo children and is an optional extra day or a stand-alone day. Children not already attending funded programs at the kinder are most welcome to enrol for this stand-alone day.

 

This program runs between the hours of 8.15am - 3.45pm, with the children active in the bush setting between 9.00am - 2.00pm. All weather suits and gumboots mean that there is no such thing as bad weather for bush kinder [thunder & lightening or torrential rainfall the exceptions].

At Bush Kinder we will explore the natural environment, discover bugs and other creatures and research their names. We explore the relationship between plants and animals, explore water and mud, make art from what we find, build humpys or cubbys and explore the indigenous heritage of the area in a child-led, play-based setting. Communication and literacy, maths & numeracy and science education (whilst also learning about sustainability) are all happening whilst the children explore and play.

 

The cost per term for this day is $656.
